how we connect through the clutter

October 26th, 2009

Every week someone asks “can you get this announced today?” or “why isn’t my _______ in the announcements?”

Someone else asks “why do we take time to read the announcements?” and someone else wants to know “why didn’t I heard about ______?”

Some may think we are choosing favorites … and everyone thinks that “fair” is a biblical mandate! (NOT!)

How we connect to the people we want to get our message to is important to all of us, and it’s becoming harder and harder to break through all the noise and clutter in life.

Who Does America Idol?

April 14th, 2008

If you’re not sure how to use this in your church, I suggest reading “Pop Goes The Church” before you make any critical comments.

tiger game

I took this photo of my son eagerly waiting for the gates to open at Tiger Stadium in Detroit this weekend. We wanted to get there early to watch batting practice. We found out that the gates don’t open until two hours before the game time (this was taken about three).
